SIEM CONSUB, part of the Norwegian group SIEM OFFSHORE (www.siemoffshore.com.br), is the trademark of Siem Offshore do Brasil S.A., a Brazilian company, founded in 1981, that acts in the Offshore Support and, in the Defense area, developing Management and Control Systems for military applications.

 

Its headquarters is located in Rio de Janeiro – RJ and has onshore operational bases in Macaé-RJ, Aracaju-SE, Natal-RN and Guamaré-RJ.

 

With focus in the Health, Safe, Quality and Environmental Protection in its activities, SIEM CONSUB has the following certificates: ISO 9001/08, ISO 14001/04, OHSAS 18001/07 and ISM Code.

 

In the Offshore Support, SIEM CONSUB has a long background in the offshore support to the production and drilling activities in the Brazilian Waters, being able/qualified to operate vessels, own and third parties, of the following types: FCV (Fast Crew Vessel), FSV (Fast Supply Vessel), PSV (Platform Supply Vessel), AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply), RSV (ROV Support Vessel), DSV (Diving Support Vessel) and OCV (Offshore Construction Vessel).

 

In the Defense Area, Siem Offshore do Brasil is the sole Brazilian company with total and recognized capacity to specify, project, develop and integrate management and control systems for military applications, and, in this particular, the weapon and tactical naval systems. The company was responsible for the development of the SICONTA (weapon and tactical control system), a fundamental segment in the modernization process of the “Niterói” class Frigates and that, today, equips, in addition to the Frigates, the Corvette Barroso and the Aircraft São Paulo, the Brazilian Navy first line ships. The company also developed other devices to the defense area and supplied to the Brazilian Navy a batch of Magnet/Acoustic Influence submarine mines developed with high-technology devices. .
